Vehicle rental

When you are going to collect a rented vehicle, we recommend you to check that it has not any exterior or interior fault of any type.

In case of finding faults, you should notice it to the rental company in the document you are given with the vehicle. You should ask for a copy of this document.

In general, rental vehicle companies do not accept cash money. They require you to use a credit card in order to be able to rent a car as a guarantee for the damages the insurance does not cover.

It is important to be properly informed on the insurance coverage. In the rental fee, the obligatory rate usually includes obligatory and third party insurance but it does not include damages caused by accident.

We recommend you to pay a bit more in order to include insurance covering third party insurance in case of clashes. Therefore, customers are not responsible for the deposit amount of money which is not usually less than 300 euros.

Rental companies provide vehicles with full tanks. Therefore, customers have to return vehicles in the same conditions paying the oil during the rental period. Nevertheless, if the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level, will have to pay extra money according to the fuel prices established in the current general rate.

Vehicle purchase in a foreign country

If you are going to buy a vehicle in a foreign country we recommend you to check the guarantee deadline and to be sure that spare parts are covered by the guarantee. Do not sign any contract written in a language you do not understand. We also recommend not using mediator agents; you should use those mediators who are legally established.

For further information, read through the section “Vehicle purchase out of Spain” and contact us.
