Aerial transport: Regulation (CE) number 261/2004

  • Delays: if delays exceed two hours you have the right to claim.

  • Cancellations: if the flight cancellation has not been announced between two and seven weeks in advance, you have the right to be compensated.

  • Overbooking: in the case of overbooking, aerial operators must always compensate you. In case that aerial operators offer you the alternative of taking you to your destiny by using an alternative transport, the compensation can be reduced by 50%.

Baggage: 1999 Montreal Convention. This convention applies to all national and international flights operated by Community flight operators.

  • Damage to checked baggage: if your baggage is damaged or faulty you should state it in the PIR (Report of baggage irregularities). You will find the document at the company’s desk at the airport. Once you have filled and hand in the document to the PIR, you have seven days to ask for compensation to the company. You can submit us your case if you want to. (Your form).
  • Delays in the checked baggage delivery:  if the checked baggage delivery is delayed, passengers have to fill the PIR document and have 21 hours to write to the company to ask for damage compensation. We recommend you to be informed on the amount of money you will receive each day that your baggage is delayed. You can submit us your case if you want to. (Your form).
  • Losses in the checked baggage: if the 21 days mentioned have passed and your baggage has not been delivered, it is assumed that the baggage is lost. Then you need to fill another document. Compensations in loss cases are a maximum of 1200 euros. You can also include extra expenses tickets.
